Mederox has shown his uncanny ability to draw and his versatile technique since 1983.
Already in his early work there is no hesitation or misalignment in his execution. It shows no uncertainty whatsoever. His inexhaustible imagination, source of an oeuvre of amazing wealth comes to life in his painting.
In his homeland of Bejucal Mederox is the source of his fantasies and he has taken them to Onteniente, Valencia and Alicante among others places shaped in the form of cardboards and murals.
He is the man central figure of his own imagination surrounded by an indefinable fauna, of elephants, winged serpents and other figments of his human imagination.
He uses the technique of monotype, drawing the image on the back of the paper on a board previously impregnated with printing ink to obtain a rich layout giving his work a vigorous presence.
A poetic image of amazing wealth is reflected in his paintings often inspired by poetry itself.
